Crisis in the Middle East
Dear business partners and customers, Due to the war situation in the Middle East, many airspaces in the region are currently closed and the information situation remains volatile. In Jordan and Oman, the airspace is largely open, so scheduled flights are operating largely as normal and many guests have been able to depart as planned. In other countries that are important for tourism—especially the UAE and Qatar—airspace remains closed (as of March 5, 2026). Short-term changes, diversions, or adjustments are still possible at any time.
We ask you to pay attention to the latest information from the respective airlines on their websites, as well as the notices and airline information provided in Cockpit. In addition, we recommend that you follow the travel and safety advice of the Federal Foreign Office (Germany) – and we recommend their FAQ on the current situation in the Middle East.
